Produced starting from a careful assembly of montepulciano and sangiovese, the two most widespread varieties of the area, the "Vigna Burello" is Rosso Piceno whose fermentation occurs spontaneously in steel and whose maturation takes place in large oak barrels for about two years . The Rosso Piceno DOC “Vigna Burello” 2012 of the Fattoria San Lorenzo is an extraordinarily elegant, fine and whispered wine, one of the most shining examples of how much good the area is able to express. Long lived
Tasting notes: Ruby red, on the nose it expresses beautiful notes of ripe red fruit embellished with hints of tobacco and cocoa. A vegetal trace opens to a fine, subtle, elegant taste, balanced by a punctual tannic texture and a freshness that is anything but dormant. Very long and vibrant.
Pairings: For the whole meal, the "Vigna Burello" is red that goes well with roast meat dishes in general. Special on game.
Grape variety: Montepulciano, Sangiovese
